Each Monday of October 2013, Robert Wright presented valuable Internet marketing classes at the Blue Sage Arts Center in Paonia, Colorado. The symposium nearly sold out and the attendees were very enthused and in follow-up polls gave high ratings to both curriculum and investment value. Auditing Your Website: Ask the right questions about your Website and discover why it is not competing as well as it could be in your market-space online. Things you can do to clean your pages source code to make your pages more search engine friendly.
Search Engine Optimization Essentials: Learn about the most important SEO components that you should be paying attention too and why they are important; Domains, URL’s, Titles, Meta-tags, Headers, Links, Text, Images, etc.

Week 2 – Monday, October 14
About Content: Understand why “content is king” on the Web. Learn about content equity, growth and freshness. Understand why blogging, is important and helpful in business.
Branding and Trust: Learn about the importance of branding for your business, building an online reputation and establishing authority and trust before asking for the sale.
Link Baiting: Learn some great ways to get important links pointing to your site and why these inbound links are critical to your success.

Week 3 – Monday, October 21
Intelligence: How to do basic competitive intelligence research to reveal what your competition is doing right and why they are beating you in search and sales online and how to close these gaps.
Analytics: Learn the basics of measuring the success of your efforts, what analytical data is important and how to leverage this data to improve your business. Review of some helpful tools for diagnostics and marketing automation.

Week 4 – Monday, October 28
Social Media: How to determine which, if any, social platforms might be right for your business. Learn the basics of integrating social media with your Website.

Cross-Channeling: What is “cross-channel” marketing? Learn ways to re-purpose your media without getting in trouble with search engines.

This symposium was well received and considered a huge success. Because of the success of these classes, Robert has been invited to give a once a month hands-on workshop at the Blue Sage Arts Center through the Winter months of 2013-2014. These classes will be intensive “how to,” hands on workshops with focus on specific areas important to succeeding online. The first Winternet Marketing Workshop is on Saturday, November 16, 2013.
